The freshly crowned Pac-12 champion Oregon football team will face Iowa State in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 2, it was announced Sunday.
The Ducks (4-2) beat Southern California on Friday to win the Pac-12 title for the second year in a row. They will participate in the Fiesta Bowl for the third time, and take a 2-0 record into this season's game after wins over Colorado in 2002 and Kansas State in 2013.
Oregon has never faced Iowa State (8-3), which lost Saturday to Oklahoma in the Big 12 Championship game. The Fiesta Bowl will be televised by ESPN at 1 p.
