A couple things ...
-- I'm on board with the sentiments expressed by the O's John Canzano and Aaron Fentress of NBCNW.com about ex-Oregon coach Mark Helfrich's hire by the Chicago Bears to become offensive coordinator.
Canzano writes: Helfrich's move to the Bears closes the Oregon loop.
From Fentress: Helfrich plays to his strengths as a developer of quarterbacks with his move to the NFL.
As I've written before, I've never agreed with the narrative that Helfrich failed at Oregon after going 37-16 in four years. He was fired after his defense imploded in a 4-8 season in 2016.
