The Cleveland Browns announced this week that starting cornerback Terrance Mitchell has been placed on injured reserve and could miss the rest of the NFL season with a broken right wrist. But that has yet to be determined.
A former Oregon Ducks football star, Mitchell was a casualty of the Browns' narrow 45-42 loss to the Oakland Raiders when he was injured in the first half of the game trying to break up a pass to Raiders wide receiver Jordy Nelson. While the injury could be season-ending for some players, Browns coach Hue Jackson told reporters that he didn't think the injury was necessarily season-ending.
