Ex-Duck RB Byron Marshall promoted to Eagles 53-man active roster

Philadelphia Eagles running back Byron Marshall has shown what he can do while playing with the Eagles practice squad. Now, he may get a chance against the best defense in the NFL on Sunday.

The rookie from Oregon was promoted to the Eagles 53-man roster Tuesday and he'll be in uniform and could make his NFL debut when the Eagles face the Baltimore Ravens.

"I don't think I was ready at the start of the season, as much as I wanted to be," Marshall told csnphilly.com. "I feel like being on the practice squad this long definitely helped and allowed me to get a lot more developed and more comfortable.
