The Detroit Lions defensive tackle and former Oregon star had neurological testing, along with brain scans and cognitive testing done at the Sports Neurology Clinic at the CORE Institute in Brighton, Michigan.
"It was just to make sure with all the stuff that's going on with the brain stuff throughout the league," Ngata told reporters Thursday. "You hear that stuff, and for me especially, I don't want to have problems when I'm older. I want to be able to raise my kids and be able to play with them when they're older and beat them in wrestling matches and stuff when they're teenagers.
