Eight Oregon athletic programs scored a perfect 1,000 in the NCAA's Academic Progress Rate for the 2018-19 academic year, according to data released Tuesday, the highest number of perfect single-year scores for the Ducks in five years.
Six of the eight perfect single-year scores were by UO women's programs, including basketball, which reached the Final Four of the NCAA Tournament that season; the women's basketball program raised its multiyear APR, a rolling four-year average, from 981 to 990. Also among the six were cross country, which won the 2018 Pac-12 title and finished third at the NCAA Championships, and three teams that were led in 2018-19 by first-year head coaches — golf, lacrosse and tennis.
