EUGENE, Ore. – Emma Eddy finally scored a goal in an Oregon uniform and goalkeeper Katelyn Carter used every inch of her 5-10 frame to make that goal stand up.
Eddy, a prolific scorer first at Eugene's Sheldon High School and later at the University of Idaho, finally found the net as a Duck and her goal in the 52nd minute lifted Oregon to a 1-0 victory over Mexico's U20 National Team Saturday at Pape' Field.
The Ducks end the spring exhibition season with a 4-0-1 record.
How it Happened: Both teams played a conservative first half that ended in a 0-0 tie.
