STORRS, Conn. — In a nationally televised showdown between teams with national championship aspirations, the No. 4 Oregon women's basketball team trailed for only 27 seconds and won 74-56 at No. 3 Connecticut on Monday night.
All five UO starters scored in double figures, and the Ducks forced 15 turnovers while limiting the 11-time national champion Huskies to 39 percent shooting. Ruthy Hebard had 22 points and 12 rebounds to lead Oregon, and Satou Sabally also had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds.
"I'm really proud of this group," UO coach Kelly Graves said.
