SAN FRANCISCO - The Oregon women's basketball team has been picked second in the 2017-18 Pac-12 women's basketball preseason coaches poll, the league announced Wednesday morning at its annual media day.
The Ducks and Stanford tied for second with 108 points in the poll behind first place UCLA. A first place vote is given 12 points while a last place vote earns one point.
This is the highest preseason league poll ranking for the Ducks since also being picked second in 2000-01. Oregon has been selected second four times in the preseason poll but has never been picked first.
