SPOKANE, Wash. — Oregon had more than an hour of private practice time in Spokane Arena on Saturday, a day before facing Saint Joseph’s in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday (6:40 p.m., TBS).
But the most important preparation time for the West Region’s top-seeded Ducks (29-6) may have been set to happen later Saturday evening, back at the team hotel. It would be there that UO players planned to spend 15 or 20 minutes reviewing the scouting report together, without coaches present.
The Ducks have done so before road games most of the season.
