MONMOUTH, Ore. – With an early opportunity to run on the Pac-12 Championships course, the Ducks' cross country teams opened their season with wins Friday evening at the Ash Creek Invitational. Susan Ejore and newcomer Lucky Schreiner led the way for Oregon with individual victories.
The Women of Oregon claimed seven of the top-eight spots including the first four across the line. The UO quartet of Ejore, Taylor Chiotti, Moira O'Shea and Phily Bowden seized control of the race early and built a lead over the chase pack.
