CORVALLIS, Ore. – No. 18 Oregon banged out 10 hits in a 10-4 win in game one against Oregon State and then was held to a season-low one hit in the nightcap, but saw exceptional pitching performances from and to shutout the Beavers 2-0 Saturday at Kelly Field.
The Ducks will go for the sweep Sunday at 3 p.m.
"We did what we needed to today and tomorrow is a very important game," said coach . "We're right where we wanted to be."
How it Happened – Game 1: went 3-for-4 with a triple, drove in two runs, threw a runner out at third and stole a base, while went 4-for-4 and drove in four runs to spark the Ducks' game one win.
