EUGENE, Ore. – Following Oregon's 21-6 win over Stanford on Saturday, offensive tackle Penei Sewell and defensive end Gus Cumberlander have earned Pac-12 Conference weekly honors.
Cumberlander, who had his second career multi-sack game, claimed the defensive lineman of the week honor. He finished with 1.5 sacks and three tackles while helping the Ducks hold their third consecutive opponent without a touchdown. Cumberlander was part of an Oregon pass rush that had five sacks and helped limit Stanford to just 120 passing yards.
Sewell, who was the highest graded offensive lineman in the Pac-12 by Pro Football Focus (PFF), earned the offensive lineman of the week award for the second consecutive week.
