PROVO, Utah - The Oregon volleyball team recovered from a bit of a slow start on Friday night in the first round of the NCAA Tournament to sweep Kennesaw State, 28-26, 25-19, 25-18, and advance to the second round in Smith Fieldhouse.
The Ducks (18-11) move on to the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the second time in as many seasons, and will face either No. 12 seed BYU or American on Saturday at 6 p.m. PT with a berth to the Sweet 16 on the line.
"Kennesaw State is a very good team," said head coach Matt Ulmer.
