EUGENE, Ore. — The No. 12 Oregon baseball team got another dominant start but squandered it Saturday to lose for the first time this season, 3-2 to Illinois State in PK Park.
How It Happened: In his first PK Park appearance since March 22, 2014, sophomore left-hander Matt Krook allowed just two hits and a run while striking out eight over seven innings. But the Ducks (5-1) struggled to break through against Redbirds starter Steve Heilenbach, and Illinois State rallied off the UO bullpen.
