PULLMAN, Wash. – The Oregon women’s tennis team turned in a number of fantastic performances on Saturday of the WSU Invitational, posting a 6-1 combined mark in doubles and a 6-2 combined record in singles.
How It Happened: The second day of action at the WSU Invitational began with two rounds of doubles. The Ducks’ four doubles teams were impressive, only dropping one of their seven total matches.
In the Crimson doubles flight, Oregon duo Alyssa Tobita and Shweta Sangwan knocked off Maria Tavares and Ana Batiri of Idaho, 6-4, and Boise State’s Bobbi Oshiro and Ari Paules Aldrey, 6-2, to maintain their perfect record for the weekend.
