Corvallis, Ore. – gave Oregon a quality start on the mound but the Oregon offense struggled against No. 10 Oregon State in a 2-1 loss Friday at Goss Stadium in a Pac-12 Conference game.
How it happened: Beavers' starting pitcher Bryce Fehmel (5-1) kept the Oregon bats quiet over 7.1 shutout innings, picking up the win. Fehmel struck out four and gave up just three hits and retired 12 in a row at one point.
The game was scoreless through the first four and a half innings before Oregon State took the lead.
