EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon played one of its better halves of soccer this fall, but a 61-second stretch in the second half led to a 3-1 loss to Colorado Thursday at Papé Field.
The Ducks (0-8-2, 0-2-0) fell behind in the 11 minute but responded with a goal of their own in the 29 minute to tie the game at 1-1.
The match was knotted at halftime, but the Buffaloes (9-2-0, 1-1-0) scored twice in a 61-second span in the second half to come away with the win.
"The big thing I can take away from it is just the way we played in the first half," said coach .
