STOCKTON, Calif. – The men's golf team had a day for the record books Tuesday at the Stockton Regional that propelled the Ducks up the leaderboard and into contention for a spot at the 2022 NCAA Championships.
Oregon's 18-under 270 in the second round was not only the Ducks' best score in program history in a postseason tournament, but it was also the second-lowest score in relation to par overall for all tournaments.
"Today was a great day," said head coach Casey Martin. "I challenged the guys and the responded beautifully."
Entering the day tied for eighth, the Ducks climbed into a tie for third by the end of the round.
