STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon women’s golf team shot a 289 today in the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice. It is a new season-low for the Ducks as they finished 10th out of 17 teams.
HOW IT HAPPENED: For the second day in a row, the Ducks started on the back nine, this time paired with members of the Iowa State and Arizona State squads.
Petra Salko once again led the Ducks as the freshman had an outstanding tournament. The epitome of consistency, Salko made par on eight holes on the back nine and also sunk a birdie on hole 15 to sit at one-under heading into the front nine.
