The sprints group for the Women of Oregon enjoyed another very productive day at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational in Albuquerque, and the Men of Oregon placed four runners under 4 minutes in the mile at the Husky Classic in Seattle as the Oregon track and field program wrapped up its split-squad weekend on Saturday.
The Ducks were able to move into NCAA qualifying position in a number of different events across both meets over the weekend, and will now get ready for postseason action with the MPSF Championships up next on the schedule (Feb. 23-24).
How it Happened – Don Kirby: Sophomores Makenzie Dunmore and Hannah Waller both ran personal-bests and moved themselves into NCAA qualifying position, with Dunmore winning the 60 meters in 7.
