EUGENE, Ore. – The University of Oregon track and field team will be represented by 61 entries at next week's NCAA West Preliminary as selections were officially announced Thursday morning. The qualifying meet, now a four-day competition, will take place May 26-29 at E.B. Cushing Stadium in College Station, Texas.
The Ducks' 61 entries—34 men, 27 women—are spread among 46 individuals and three relays. Not including relays, Oregon will have 12 individuals—seven men, five women—competing in two events.
The list of UO men entered in two events includes (100m, 200m), (100m, 200m), (long jump, triple jump), (110H, 400H), (1500m, 5000m), (5000m, steeplechase), Jack Yearin (1500m, 5000m).
