MILWAUKEE, Wis. — The Oregon men's basketball team ran into a red-hot Marquette team, and fell 101-92 Sunday at the Al McGuire Center in the second round of the NIT. The Ducks' season comes to an end at 22-13.
How It Happened: Offensively, Oregon had one of its better nights of the season, scoring 92 points and shooting 53.7 percent from the field (29-of-54). But Marquette (21-13) was better, hitting 57.6 percent (34-of-59). Andrew Rowsey led the Golden Eagles with 29 points.
Marquette took advantage of the Ducks' turnovers, scoring 30 points off Oregon mistakes.
