Tony Brooks-James, entering his senior season with the Oregon Ducks, is in consideration for an award given to the top running back nationally.
Brooks-James was named to the watch list for the Doak Walker Award on Wednesday.
Brooks-James was the speedier counterpart to Royce Freeman's power in UO's backfield the past three seasons and shined when injuries limited Freeman in 2016 especially, when he gained 926 total yards from scrimmage and averaged 8.3 yards per touch.
He has a career per-carry average of 6.9 yards and has rushed for 1,557 total yards and 14 touchdowns in there seasons in addition to 37 catches for 319 yards and two touchdowns.
