EUGENE, Ore. - Oregon returned from its two-week break with its sixth practice of the spring on Tuesday. The Ducks were in shells (helmet and shoulder pads) inside the Moshofsky Center as they build up to Saturday's open practice at Hillsboro Stadium.
Despite being in just shells, Tuesday's practice had an intensity and competitiveness that head coach Mario Cristobal was happy with coming off the break for finals and spring break.
"We wanted make sure that our guys understood that going away on spring break was an opportunity to take a break, see your family, spend some quality time with your loved ones, but at the same time to stay in great shape because when we come back it's full tilt and that's what we had today.
