Once in a while you see a game that, on paper at least, doesn’t look like it will be close. And sometimes, it actually works out that way, as it did for the #16 Oregon Ducks against Eastern Washington tonight. After a reasonably competitive first quarter, Oregon outscored EWU 43 - 10 over the second and third quarters and raced to an 88 - 38 win over the Eagles. Three Ducks - Grace Van Slooten, Phillipina Kyei and Endyia Rogers had double-doubles in points and rebounds to lead the Ducks.
FIRST QUARTER
The Ducks (7-1) came in looking to defend in general, and particularly to deny the 3-point shot which has been Eastern Washington’s (6-2) strength.
