EUGENE — After a year out of the national top-25 polls, Oregon briefly re-appeared in September, only to quickly fall out again, never to be ranked again in 2017.
Will 2018 be the year the Ducks return to the rankings and make it stick?
Several predictions for next season believe so, as numerous outlets included UO in their annual "way too early" rankings for the next college football season. The Ducks weren't included in every ranking; ESPN, Sports Illustrated and USA Today, among others, did not list coach Mario Cristobal's program.
Those that did generally placed UO near the bottom of its top-25.
