Oregon's 2018 college football schedule is a dream for a fan: seven home games, with four consecutive in Autzen Stadium to begin the season.
You won't find Mario Cristobal complaining about his first-year slate, either. But the coach is an obsessive planner for every variable that might face his team, and the schedule doesn't provide the Ducks any early opportunities to fix a constant issue last season -- its dim performances on the road.
On Tuesday, Cristobal found a workaround. The Ducks bused the two hours to Nike headquarters in unincorporated Washington County and practiced in full pads in an attempt to simulate what it will be like to play outside of UO's comfort zone.
