The Oregon football team was picked to win the Pac-12's North Division and go on to win the 2020 conference championship game by media who cover the Pac-12, the conference office announced Wednesday.
The Ducks, entering their third season under head coach Mario Cristobal, are defending Pac-12 Conference and Rose Bowl champions. They begin preseason practice Friday.
Oregon was picked to win the North Division for the sixth time in 10 years since the conference expanded. This is the sixth time the Ducks have been the media's preseason pick as conference champions, along with 2001, 2010, 2011, 2013 and 2014.
