EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon women's basketball team was picked to win the Pac-12 in a vote of 20 conference media members on Thursday while both Sabrina Ionescu and Ruthy Hebard were named to the five-player preseason all-Pac-12 team.
Oregon finished atop the Pac-12 media poll after also being tabbed to repeat as conference champions in a vote of the league's coaches earlier this month. The Ducks received 19 of 20 first-place votes and 239 total points, with Stanford coming in second with one first-place vote and 219 points.
Ionescu, the reigning two-time Pac-12 player of the year and three-time all-Pac-12 selection, was a unanimous choice for the preseason all-conference squad.
