STOCKTON, Calif. – Oregon shot a 2-over 290 and was tied for eighth place following Monday's first round of the NCAA Regional at The Reserve at Spanos Park.
No. 16 Stanford held the first round lead at 10-under 278, followed by No. 4 Arizona State (279), Denver (282) and BYU (284). No. 21 LSU and Liberty were tied for fifth at 287 with Abilene Christian seventh at 289. The Ducks were three strokes back of the cut line after Monday's round.
The top five teams from the Stockton Regional will advance to will advance to the NCAA Championships May 27-June 1 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
