EUGENE, Ore. – Led by first-year head coach Mario Cristobal, Oregon learned in will open the 2018 campaign ranked No. 24 when the Associated Press Poll was unveiled on Monday.
It marks the 10th time in the last 11 years that the Ducks will open the season ranked in the AP Top 25.
One of four Pac-12 teams in the initial AP Top 25, Oregon is 11-3 all-time as a ranked team in season openers, including five straight five wins. The Ducks will open the season on Saturday, Sept. 1, against MAC member Bowling Green at Autzen Stadium.
