EUGENE, Ore. — Free passes hurt Oregon on Friday night at Oregon State in a 5-1 Pac-12 Conference loss at Goss Stadium.
Four of the five Beavers who scored reached base on a walk before eventually crossing home plate. The fifth scored on a two-out double in the bottom of the eighth after reaching on a hit and moving to second on the Ducks' 11th walk of the game.
How It Happened: Oregon State took an early lead with a run in the bottom of the second, but Oregon answered with a run in the top of the third to tie the game.
