SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Oregon men’s golf team finished the first round of play at The Gifford tied for third overall on Monday at the par-71, 6,996-yard La Costa Legends Golf Course.
How It Happened: Paired with Wisconsin and South Florida, the Ducks carded a 3-over 287 Monday to tie host UCLA for third heading into Tuesday’s second round. Stanford and Washington are tied for the lead after the tournament’s first 18 holes, with each sitting at 1-over.
Junior Thomas Lim led the Ducks on Monday, turning in a 3-under 68 for his lowest single-round stroke total of the season.
