STANFORD, Calif. – Senior Tze-Han (Heather) Lin put together the best round of her career on Saturday to help the Oregon women's golf team move into second place entering the final round of the Stanford Intercollegiate at Stanford Golf Course.
Lin rattled off seven birdies to card a career-best 6-under 65, pacing the No. 5 ranked Ducks to a 5-under 279 in the second round. Oregon sits in second in the 18-team field at 1-under par overall, with No. 1 ranked Stanford leading at 21-under par on its home course.
The Ducks put together an impressive round despite being without head coach Derek Radley, who stayed in Eugene for the birth of his third child on Friday with his wife, Sara.
