STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon women’s golf team shot a 302 today in the opening round of the Stanford Intercollegiate hosted by Dr. Condoleezza Rice. The 18-over round for the Ducks has them in a tie with Washington State for 14th place among the 17 participating teams.
HOW IT HAPPENED: The Ducks started on hole 1 and were paired with members of the UCLA and UC Davis’ squads for the first day.
Petra Salko led the way as she finished with the lowest score of the round for Oregon. The freshman shot a two-over 73 for one of her best rounds of her young Duck career.
