For the last four years, Kristen Parr has given everything of herself to the Oregon soccer program. Recently there hasn’t been much return on that investment, but if there’s any justice, that will change Sunday.
The UO soccer team will host its senior day Sunday, prior to the Ducks’ 1 p.m. match against Washington. Parr, a Bend native who led the team in goals her first two seasons before selflessly moving to center back this fall, will be one of five seniors making her final appearance at Pape Field.
“I still don’t believe it’s happening,” Parr said Friday, after Oregon suffered its seventh straight defeat, to WSU.
