Ducks Hold on to Beat ASU, 5-4

TEMPE, Ariz. –Geri Ann Glasco belted a grand slam and the No. 5 ranked Ducks held on to beat No. 25 Arizona State, 5-4, on Saturday night to clinch the series win at Farrington Stadium.

The Ducks improved to 34-6 (12-2 Pac-12) with the win, their fifth straight over Arizona State, which is the program’s longest ever winning streak against the Sun Devils.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Arizona State took the early lead for the second straight game with a run in the third inning. The Ducks had a chance to lead early as well, leaving the bases loaded in both the second and the fourth inning.
