The Oregon Ducks flew back to Eugene after a mixed performance at the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas to retool for the outdoor season.
The Ducks were short-handed going into the indoor nationals. It's not surprising they were unable to win a team title for the first time since 2008.
The men's team was outgunned from the start. The UO women had a nice second day. Sabrina Southerland was brilliant while winning a national title in the 800, and Jessica Hull ran a smart race in the 3,000 final to claim third place.
