Ducks Finish Strong at Washington Invitational

SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon women’s tennis team finished competition at the Washington Invitational on the right note on Sunday, winning four of six singles matches.

How It Happened: Oregon’s Kennan Johnson, Marlou Kluiving, Micheline Aubuchon and Paloma Gomez each rattled off victories on the Ducks’ final day in Seattle.

Johnson picked up her second win of the weekend when she defeated Washington’s Tami Grende, 6-4, 6-3. The win was the sophomore transfer’s fourth singles victory since joining the Ducks.

Kluiving knocked off Kenadi Hance of Washington, 6-3, 6-3 to tally her third win of the season.
