SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Oregon women’s golf team recorded their lowest three-day score at an NCAA Regional in school history after a 2-under 286 in the third round at Briggs Ranch GC, good for a tournament total of 865 (1-over). The Ducks finished in eighth place and did not qualify to the NCAA Championships, but their 865 was their best performance at a regional by 20 strokes, surpassing their previous high of 885 that they shot on two occasions in 1993 and 1997.
Cathleen Santoso led the way for UO in San Antonio and finished in a tie for 23rd place (216, 74-71-71) after a 1-under 71 in the final round.
