CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Oregon softball team finished its weekend at the St. Pete/Clearwater Elite Invitational with a 2-2 record after falling to No. 18 Kentucky, 12-3, in five innings on Saturday at the Eddie C. Moore Softball Complex.
The No. 19 Ducks (7-2) picked up their second win of the weekend behind a no-hitter from sophomore Jordan Dail against Florida Atlantic earlier in the day, but struggled to get things going against the Wildcats (5-5) in their final game in Clearwater.
How it Happened: Oregon threatened in the opening inning after a two-out walk and a single by April Utecht, but a strikeout kept the Ducks off the board.
