SAMMAMISH, Wash. – Yuki Moriyama shot rounds of 68-69 to lead Oregon on the first day of the Pac-12 Championships Monday at Aldarra Golf Club.
Moriyama was tied for third at 5-under 137 while Oregon was fifth at 7-over.
How It Happened: Moriyama, who finished third at the 2021 championships, had an eagle and four birdies in the morning round as part of his 3-under 69. In round two, the sophomore from Kanagawa, Japan, struck for seven birdies, but also had five bogeys for a 2-under 69.
Moriyama was two strokes behind 36-hole leader Barclay Brown of Stanford, who stood at 7-under 135.
