EUGENE – After a strong start, the second-ranked Oregon acrobatics and tumbling team fell 282.025-280.180 to No. 1 Baylor at Matthew Knight Arena on Thursday night.
How It Happened: The Ducks came out firing, picking up the early momentum with wins in the compulsory and acro events.
In compulsories, Oregon snagged wins in three of the four heats, scoring a season-high 9.75 in acro, 9.85 in pyramid and 9.95 in toss. The Ducks scored a 9.30 in tumbling to tie Baylor in the heat and take the event, 38.85-38.40.
The Ducks continued their strong performance into acro, taking the event, 29.
