FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Oregon's 2022 season came to an end in a 9-3 loss to fourth-seeded Arkansas Sunday in the NCAA Fayetteville Regional final before 3,058 at Bogle Park.
The Ducks end their season at 33-18 after making their second straight NCAA Regional final under coach Melyssa Lombardi.
"In postseason, you get to play the best and you want to beat the best," said. Lombardi. "You get to play the best and you need to beat the best. That's where you really get to see where you're at."
How it Happened: After Arkansas, 47-9, built a 3-0 lead with three solo home runs through the first four innings, Oregon tied the game at 3-3 in the bottom of the fourth inning on one of the wildest plays of the season.
