EUGENE, Ore. - Utah pitcher Katie Donovan held the Ducks to just five hits and Oregon lost, 3-2, to the Utes on Friday night at Jane Sanders Stadium.
The No. 3 ranked Ducks (43-8, 19-4 Pac-12), who clinched a fourth-straight Pac-12 title yesterday night, entered the weekend ranked third in the NCAA averaging 8.1 runs per game but were held in check by Donovan, leaving five runs on base.
The loss snapped a 17-game winning streak for the Ducks against the Utes.
