SANTA CRUZ, Calif. – Oregon took advantage of slightly better playing conditions Tuesday at Pasatiempo Golf Club to be in line to challenge for the team's fifth-straight top five finish of the spring.
The Ducks shot a 22-over 372 in the second round – nine shots better than Monday's opening round – to move up a spot to seventh at 53-over. Oregon enters the final round four shots behind two teams tied for fourth place at plus-49, Arizona and Washington. Just ahead of the Ducks is Colorado State in sixth at 52-over.
"Guys are battling, giving everything they have," said head coach Casey Martin.
