EUGENE -- It was mid-July, and Darren Carrington had just been dismissed from the Oregon football program.
But cornerback Arrion Springs knew he'd one day see UO's now-former star receiver again.
"I knew it was going to be in the conference," Springs said Sunday of Carrington's transfer, which landed him last week at fellow Pac-12 member Utah. "I was preparing myself, like, I'm going to have to see this man and it's going to be fun."
