EUGENE -- Members of the Oregon Ducks defense didn't do a lot of smiling last season, so things seemed a little different outside the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex this week as a grin curled across Arrion Springs' face.
The cause?
Springs, a senior cornerback, was asked about Nebraska's offense, and how the Cornhuskers will likely try to air it out against the Ducks' secondary. It worked a year ago, as Nebraska quarterback Tommy Armstrong threw for 200 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions in the Cornhuskers' win. It could be the strategy again for Nebraska, which enters the game coming off a Week 1 performance that saw the Huskers score on six of its first eight possessions.
