GLENDALE, Ariz. – The Oregon Ducks defeated the Arizona Christian Firestorm 275.30-229.415 on Saturday night in Arizona. The 45.885-point margin of victory win is the largest in Oregon Acrobatics and Tumbling History.
How it happened: After a win last week to start the season, Oregon came out in full force, kicking off the first away meet. The Ducks tallied a total of 37.75 in the compulsory event, while Arizona Christian registered a 27.55.
The Ducks did not miss a beat as they went into their second event, acro. In heat three of the 7-element acro event, sophomore top Kaylene Iriye executed her moves while junior top Sierra Garcia kept the momentum in her portion to finish off the routine.
